During this free member webinar, E-Quantum Consulting will discuss exactly what kW Demand charges are, how they differ from usage (kWh) charges, how we can identify and quantify our monthly and annual demand charges, why they affect the payback of all Energy Efficiency projects, and what we can do to manage these demand charges down with little to no cost.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Determine what exactly demand charges are, how they differ from usage charges, and what they actually cost.
  • Identify on the supply and delivery invoices where the demand charges are, and how they are calculated.
  • Manage down these charges and prevent overcharging by taking a few simple actions

Speaker

Eoin Burke, E-Quantum Consulting
Mr. Burke joined E-Quantum in 2016 and has been working in the energy industry since 2007.  Because energy management and data management are virtually identical, Mr. Burke's background working as a software developer for Morgan Stanley's fraud security division, made for an easy transition. He also worked for a small smart grid technology startup company (EnergyConnect Inc) that was acquired by Johnson Controls. He is experienced working with some of the largest energy users in Illinois with a focus on commercial real estate and manufacturing. Eoin holds a BS in Computer Science (minor in Math/Statistics) from University College Cork, Ireland.
