TOBY Mini Inspection: Prepare for the 2026 Application Season

The local TOBY application process is a two-step process. Your team will first submit a written application, and then host two to three judges at your building for a comprehensive inspection.

We will help you prepare for your own TOBY inspection by hosting a "mini-inspection" at One South Wacker – a property that won the Over 1 Million Square Foot International TOBY Award in 2023.

At this event, you will be assigned to a small group inspection between 1 PM and 4 PM. The tour will last for 45 minutes, and you will hear directly from a TOBY-winning team about how they prepared for their inspection.

The BOMA/Chicago local TOBY award competition has launched here. The TOBY deadline is September 17. On-site judging will be scheduled for October/November.
